My Dress a Sasha entry takes 2nd Place at the 2013 Sasha Festival

Here are some pictures of my Dress a Sasha entry. I created the complete outfits based on a picture of two adorable children from the early 1900's. This was a labor of love. I had to 1st create the patterns for both outfits. The lace on the dress collar is hand knit and was found at an antique store in Crosby MN. I made tights out of black knee-high women's socks. I even created real leather shoes for the Sasha and toddler. These outfits were challenging but very fun to make. Enjoy!

  3. Very well deserved - I looked at Tom Beach's photos of all the entries and think that the best ones got the prizes. Isn't it satisfying working on a project like this. I loved working on my dress a Sasha entry for last year's festival, even though it didn't win any prizes.
